Blues al estilo de Chuck Berry
Para quienes seais apasionados del blues aquí os dejo una pequeña lección que seguro os puede resultar de mucha utilidad para aprender a tocar al más puro estilo de Chuck berry. ¿Quién es Chuck Berry? Charles Edward Anderson Berry (Saint Louis, Misuri, 18 de octubre de 1926), conocido artísticamente como Chuck Berry, es un compositor, intérprete y guitarrista estadounidense. Es considerado uno de los músicos más influyentes en la historia del rock and roll,1 siendo uno de los pioneros de dicho género musical. Gracias a canciones como «Maybellene» (1955), «Roll Over Beethoven» (1956), «Rock and Roll Music» (1957) y «Johnny B. Goode» (1958), Berry redefinió los elementos del rhythm and blues, creando las bases del rock and roll. La revista Rolling Stone lo presenta como el intérprete n.º 5 de toda la historia en su lista «The Immortals» superado solo por The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley y The Rolling Stones, y como el sexto mejor guitarrista de todos los tiempos. Asimismo, «Johnny B. Goode» su canción más popular, es considerada la mejor canción de guitarra de la historia del rock and roll, según la misma revista.[cita requerida] Por su legado al género rock ganó en 2014 el Premio Polar, considerado el «Premio Nobel de la música». ¡Ojo al homenaje que le rinden al inmortal Jonnhy B Godde en Regreso al futuro! La escala de pentatónica menor con la Blue note, su escala preferida. A partir de esta figura están construidas la mayoría de sus improvisaciones de blues. Backing track en escala mayor de LA. Recomendación: Intentad practicar este solo a partir de la escala pentatónica menor, en este caso al ser la escala de LA debeis buscar su sexto grado (F#) y desde ahí lanzar el dibujo.
